Our Four "C" Grading Scale for Diamonds:

  1. Color - Diamonds can exist in nearly every color, however most people are picture the perfect diamond as crystal white. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) rates the body color in white diamonds from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow).

  2. Clarity - The clarity of a diamond is determined by the amount and location of flaws or blemishes. GIA rates clarity grades in diamonds from Flawless to different levels of Imperfect.

  3. Cost - The weight of a diamond is measured in carats. Higher carat weight results in higher rarity and price.

  4. Cut - Cutting and polishing are the facets that allow maximum shine and brilliance for diamonds.
